Do you think its okay for employees to take things from work?

I think that taking things in general is something bad and doing it from your work is a low life thing.
If one of my employees took something from my work I would tell them off. I would just let him go and fire his low life and telling to take his stealing life somewhere else. I hope that in the future people grow up mentally and think twice with what they do.
